It's a mess!
Agreed, where would you put them?
I guess the problem is that the interface has evolved over time.
Up until about a year or two ago, I used SAB every day, and I imagine as you add more elements, it remains simple to use, but if you are coming to it as a new user, it's not too friendly.
I can see that the latest Plush has had some elements moved around to tidy things up, but I'm thinking it may need starting from scratch. I'm not a UI designer, but Plush may need one.
It's not the only offender -- Newsbin currently has an Options menu that leads to Options. And don't get me started on other problems with Newsbin 6!
Right now, there at least 6 separate areas of the screen with menus, and it's just too confusing to know where to click. Particularly with "Config" and "Options" giving me no clue what they are -- I have clicked each about 5 times, and each time had no idea what was going to come up.
You also have the unlabelled arrow on the right, which has a miscellany of options. Even if I knew what option I wanted, I have a hard time remembering where it is.
I hope this is constructive criticism. SAB is still the best, the best a man can get!
