Series Sorting Extra Folder

Post by onedummy »

Hello..

First I'd like to say that this program is awesome!

I'm using this in conjunction with Sick Beard and I'm getting frustrated trying to get rid of an extra folder that is being created when my TV shows are being put in a specific folder.

Here is my sort string:
%sn/%sn - S%0sE%0e
C:\Documents and Settings\admin\My Documents\downloads\complete\Show Name\Show Name - S01E05

Here is my folder path:
F:\public\TV Shows

It is saving the shows like this:
F:\public\TV Shows\Show Name\Show Name - SXXEXX\Show.Name.SXXEXX.Title.2010.720p.WEB-DL.DD5.1.h.264-EbP.mkv

How can I get rid of the bolded 'extra' folder? Any suggestions/ direction would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

You should use this sort string:
%sn

Thanks so much for the quick reply!

I changed the sort string per your suggestion and it did get rid of the extra folder, but it is still not doing what I would like.

Sort String setting:
%sn - S%0sE%0e

It is now saving the show like this:
F:\public\TV Shows\Show Name - SXXEXX\Show Name.SXXEXX.Show Title.720p.WEB-DL.DD5.1.h.264-EbP.mkv

I'm wanting it to save it to a folder that I've created in the following path:
F:\public\TV Shows\Show Name\Show Name.SXXEXX.Show Title.720p.WEB-DL.DD5.1.h.264-EbP.mkv

How can I remove the episode number from the folder name and place the file in the folder just titled with the show name with all of the other shows? Hope this makes sense.

Thank you!

I'm still unable to exclude the extra folder. I've decided to change the path to include season folders.

Here is my sort string setting:
%sn/Season %s/%sn - S%0sE%0e

It is now saving the show like this:
F:\public\TV Shows\Show Name\Season 5\Show Name - S05E05\show.name.s05e05.720p.hdtv.x264-ctu.mkv

I would REALLY like to save the show like this:
F:\public\TV Shows\Show Name\Season 5\show.name.s05e05.720p.hdtv.x264-ctu.mkv

I would REALLY like to remove the bold folder above. Could someone please make any suggestions as to how I can accomplish this? I'm not sure why it is creating the episode folder! Very frustrating.

Thanks for your time.

I'm seeing this as well. It used to work perfectly until a couple of months ago. I tried updating from 0.5.4 to 0.5.6 but no dice.

Running the Mac OS X version.

Your sort string is too long, you just need this:

%sn/Season %s

Awesome! Thanks shypike! That worked..

Now I need to figure out how to get the file named properly.

It is naming the file like this:

How.I.Met.Your.Mother.S06E19.showname.720p.WEB-DL.DD5.1-PeeWee

I would like it to be named like this:

How I Met Your Mother - S06E19 - showname

I'm guessing this would be a setting in Sick Beard?

Thank you!
