SABnzbd on NETGEAR STORA nas

Post by krommenek »

Hi There,

Is there some one who knows how to install SABNZB on a NETGEAR STora NAS.

I managed ( I think) to install it by login via SSH/putty and run: IPKG install SABnzbdplus
The nas then installed everything.
But using: http:'ip-adres-nas':8080 is not working to reach the homepage of NSABnzbplus
Anyone an Idea?

In my router I did in the NAT section portforwarding for port 8080 to ip adres of my STORA device.

Please advise.

have a look in the ini if sabnzbd+ is maybe started at 127.0.0.1 or localhost.
Is so , change this to the IP  of the NAS

Good idea, but where do I find this file? Is there special directory to look for this file?

Thanks...

You may need to ask on the netgear forum or where
you go the package.
By default SABnzbd stores it's sabnzbd.ini file in the user's home folder,
but that mey be different on a NAS.
Best guess is maybe to search the whole NAS for the file sabnzbd.ini
It's a simple text file, editable with VI.
Find the field "host" and change the IP value.
You need a telnet/ssh connection.

Hi There,

I found it and I can start it. The programs works fine.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Now te next step, how can I start it as a deamon?
Now I can only start it by opening a terminal and typing ./SABnzbd.py

The program then starts and I can use it through the web interface. Also shutting down is possible through the web interface.

Does anyone know a script for starting SABnzbd?

Cheers!
