Updated to DSM3.1 beta; sabnzbd.py removed?

Post by Lexis »

Hi guys,

I updated my Synology to DSM 3.1 beta, after updating sab to 0.5.6

When I restarted my Synology afterwards, Sab didn't start at all. I tried to update sab again, hoping that it would reinstall the missing files. Unluckily, it didn't. It gave the error message that sabnzbd.py was missing, or not in the right place.

Is there anything I can do to repair this? I'm a little bit familiar with ssh via the terminal (I can LS, CD and VI...). And is there a way to keep my settings during the process?

I also installed sickbeard, which isn't working right now as well. Is that fixed when I fixed sab?

Thanks for your help!

Lexis.

How did you get SABnzbd on the NAS in the first place?
As a Synology package? For those you need to address the package creator.

I think I did use a Synology package. Is it not the best way?

But I can't remember where I got the package..., is there anyway you could help, because you guys know more about sab and Linux! :-*

Thanks for the fast reply by the way!
