Hi,
I have an issue where I cannot add nzb files by going to 'Add NZB' then 'Choose File'. It lets me browse to the file, but once I select the file nothing happens. If I go to a windows box and connect to the SAB server, it can upload fine. If I use firefox from my linux desktop, it also works fine, so it's definitely a client issue with Google Chrome on Linux.
Version: 0.5.6 Final
OS: Ubuntu Linux Maverick 10.10
Install-type: python source
Skin (if applicable): Plush
Firewall Software: n/a
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? yes

Re: Adding NZB Files from Google Chrome on Linux
We don't really like Chrome.
New issue every week. Most also go away a few weeks later.

Re: Adding NZB Files from Google Chrome on Linux
It's been an issue for quite a while. FYI Chrome on Windows seems to work fine, just the Linux version. I'd say at least 2 months I've noticed it.
Re: Adding NZB Files from Google Chrome on Linux
I've used Chrome on Linux for months and haven't had a problem with Sab and classic skin. I'd suggest you look at the skin you're using before you go blaming Chrome (currently 9.0.597.84 Official Build 72991)bstock wrote: It's been an issue for quite a while. Re: Adding NZB Files from Google Chrome on Linux
Dude chill, I wans't 'blaming' Chrome, I was saying the issue only happens when using Chrome on linux.krackt wrote: I've used Chrome on Linux for months and haven't had a problem with Sab and classic skin. I just tried changing skin, and simple does let me upload fine, so I'd now say the issue is with either Chrome or the skin, as it only happens when using the combination of the two.
Could you try changing your skin to plush and see if you get the same results? My version of Chrome is 9.0.597.94 beta, so I'd be interested to see if the official build makes a difference.
Thanks.
Re: Adding NZB Files from Google Chrome on Linux
It is not only chrome with linux.
As I have the same on windows 7 .. with plush skin
It was working before & I don't think there was an update (from chrome) or it must have been a silent one

Re: Adding NZB Files from Google Chrome on Linux
Nothing wrong here on my Win7-64 box using Chrome 9.0.597.94
Did you clean your browser cache?
However, 0.5.6 with Chrome-9 does fail in this aspect on Ubuntu 10.10.
The good news is that 0.6.0 will work OK in the same situation.

Same with Chromium (9.0.597.94), but in Chromium the menus won't stay open when navigating down the menu...
