This is not a step by step setup procedure but a rough outline on the setup. There are many tutorials on each of the different parts just Google that part or look in or ask a question in a forum
Newsgroups
To start you will need some where to download the media from, I prefer Newsgroups. If you have not heard about Newsgroups they have been around before the Web (www) and to get up to speed I recommend reading or watching the videos at http://www.slyck.com/Newsgroups_Guide.
As you have probably noticed you will need to subscribe to a News Server. For $11 a month for unlimited downloads with 1100 Days retention this is a steal. http://www.news.astraweb.com/specials/k ... bAod-T7C0w
You will also need a Newsreader to download from Newsgroups. I recommend SABnzbd+ as you will be using NZB files to download are Media and this reader makes this very easy and it’s free.

The Most important part about SaBnzbd+ is the Watched Folder this is where you will be sending your NZB files to be downloaded. The next important part is the downloaded folders this is where the files will be when they are completely downloaded.

NZB? Where?
Now that you have your Newserver and Newsreader setup its time to find some NZB files to download or at least the sites that will help you find them. There are many NZB search sites on the web, some are free and some charge onetime small fees. The free ones work great if you’re looking for something in particular. But to automate the search you will have to sign up for one of the onetime fee sites for them to allow you to use the RSS feeds and API search side of the site.

Automate how?
RSS feeds are the answer. Each of the above NZB search sites also have RSS feeds for each of their binaries they keep track of. With these RSS feeds you can search or filter out what you are looking for.
TV shows, Movies
Now you could filter out these shows with SaBnzbd+ alone but there’re many great Apps being created for this exact purpose.

Automated Movies - Movie Grabber - http://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8569 (This one helps you setup the IMDB rating and type of movies you like. With your News Server setup with SaBnzbd+ and signed up with NZB search site you can now scan the RSS feeds and automatically download Media.
If your One of those Users that has a new TV with a Media player built in and needs a DLNA sever then try.
Serviio - http://www.serviio.org/ - Serviio is free and works with any DLNA compliant device (TV, Playstation 3, etc.) and some others (XBox 360).Serviio is based on Java technology and therefore runs on most platforms, including Windows, Mac and Linux (incl. embedded systems, e.g. NAS)
