Hi.
i'm running sabnzbd+ 0.56 on ubuntu 10.04.1 i386.
most of my nzb files download properly. on occassion, i get failed downloads. upon examination, it appears that sabnzbd does not download the PAR files even though they are in the NZB file and show up as waiting.
I'm determined to find out why this happens because this happens daily. What is the best way to troubleshoot this?
Is there any workaround? i don't mind downloading a bit more if it saves me hassle of manually fixing.
right now, to complete the download, i grab the NZB file from the backup folder, load it in grabit on my windows pc, select the par files and download those and then repair the files and unpack.

- Are you using the latest stable version of SABnzbd? Downloads page.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

based on searches for similar posts from other users, it may be that the par files may not be named correctly.
also, some of the failed jobs i have are caused by Astraweb removing par files from certain shows. they leave rar files, but remove 1 block from each one and leave 1 par file, but all the other par files are gone!

Ok.
I've done more extensive testing.
I typically download 8-15GB files. I use Astraweb as my main download service and easynews as my backup.
I signed up with Supernews and use it as my backup and now things work much better. I'll experiment further and post my results.
