Downloading PARs only?

Hey guys,

Is it possible to just download PARs??  I am trying this, but it just keeps redownloading as it thinks it is missing blocks from the full set etc (which makes sense obviously).

Just grabbed something that had no PARs, of course it fails.  The PARs were posted separately...

Not sure how to get them all to download, I am just copying them before it starts processing so it doesn't delete them all and start redownloading.

Might be an idea to be able to update failed download with a new link for PARs or something.

Anyways, any help would be appreciated.

Due to my attempts of downloading PARs only above, I now have 2 items in my History that won't finish and I can't remove, anyway to fix this without purging the entire History?

Stop SABnzbd.
Find the "cache" folder (location shown in Config->Folders)
Remove the file postproc1.sab
Start SABnzbd.
Whatever was waiting for post processing is gone from the queue now.
The folders and files are still in the "temporary download folder".

Any comments on how to properly us SAB to download just the PARs without experiencing the issue I had?

Yes, set the post processing to blank (just download).
Although it's unclear to me why post processing failed to terminate.
The next major release will handle this properly
by allowing retries with an optional extra NZB containing extra par2 files.
