Local Host unable to connect to port 9090 on this computer

Post by Mattk »

Hi,
I am quite new to this but have used SAB on many occasions so far with no issues but since yesterday it will not connect. When I diagnose it gives the error 'Local Host unable to connect to port 9090 on this computer'.

I have tried in both IE7 and Google Chrome.

Any ideas, please?

Thanks.

So how do you know SABnzbd is connected to port 9090?
The default port is 8080.
Is SABnzbd actually running? (Check in Task manager).

Try starting it like this:
Windows-Key R
"c:\program files\SABnzbd\SABnzbd.exe" -s localhost:8080
Enter.

I only know its connected to port 9090 as when I hover over the shortcut it says '9090' and also  the error message also states 9090. Not sure why its on that port f its not the default as Ive not made any changes...wouldnt know how to!
I tried your suggestion and it says unable to find 'c:\program'.
