Hi,
A few hours back, I stumbled upon something I haven't previously seen. After downloading a dvd and repairing it, sabnzb apparently failed to unpack it. Yet, when I open up the unpacked video_ts, I can be for 100% certain that all files are present. In addition all the rars have been removed from the incomplete folder (which I set it to do so). On the negative side, sabnzb reports that a file named x.part72.rar.3 has not been found (and is thus the cause of the failure) and three files have been moved to the 'FAILED' folder (in the complete folder) in addition to the extracted video_ts: x.part.72.rar.2, x.part.73.rar.2 and x.par2.1. Part 73 is, for what it matters, the very last part.
So, how should I interpret this? Should I expected corrupted video somewhere, is everything alright etc. I hope anyone has an answer!
Greetings,
Daan

Re: Has the unpacking succeeded?
In rare circumstances SABnzbd and/or unrar become confused about .1 .2 etc. files.
No harm was done because the .3 file isn't needed.
We'll look at this issue for a later release.

Re: Has the unpacking succeeded?
Thanks for the assurance! This is indeed something that can be solved in a next update.
Speaking of these things, apparently the very next nzb I've downloaded has another problem. Sabnzb reports that repairment has failed and 704 blocks are missing. In reality, sabnzb has only fixed part of all the files and there are more than sufficient blocks to repair from. So I've run quickpar over it, and all files are succesfully repaired. Any clue?

Re: Has the unpacking succeeded?
That's usually caused by uploaders who violate naming conventions for par2 sets.
We'll be looking at that issue too.
There's one other possibility:
There's a sample in the NZB and you've selected "don't download samples".
This combination can fail.

Re: Has the unpacking succeeded?
Thanks for the anwser! No, I didn't turn the sample setting off so it'll probably be the first thing you mentioned.
