Ubuntu 10.04, was downloading and got the file down to 650Mb and the velocity shows 26kb/s (slow) and no activity on my net monitor. Other software works (email, etc).

I checked the Usenet server and it checks out fine, Sab just seemed to lock up. Any ideas? I even tried to Restart Sab with no effect.

Are you using multiple servers?

no, just the one on SSL port 563 and I went back to 119 unencrypted, but made no difference, sab won't respond to Restart - seems locked up showing downloading, but it's stopped cold.

I just saw that there is an Ubuntu list - I should have posted it there I think. I can't find where to transfer this over to that list.

What may happen is that a server refuses to answer that it doesn't have an article.
SABnzbd will keep trying forever.
Check the file list by clicking on the job title in the queue.
If it's hanging on one file, delete that one and post processing will start.
