please help

I'm currently trying to install the news reader but feel like it's not working. I have an ibook g4 running oxs 10.4.11 should this system be ok to use. I have a newsdemon account which I'm trying to run along side the newsreader.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, I'm going through the setup wizard but I can't seem to get past the server details bit - every time I try and run a test it seems that my information is wrong but i've tried all passwordss etc. Any ideas - thanks for the response

Did you ever use your newsdemon account in another newsreader?
If so, did you copy the data correctly?
Be aware that most news providers have different servers and port numbers for secure communication.
So if you select the SSL option, you must use a different server name and port number.
Which error message do you see?

Hi, thanks for being helpful! I feel like I'm getting there now. I'm managing to get files to run through the reader but have no idea now how to access them once their read? Sorry. You've been very useful indeed. I've been trying to sort this out for ages now - i'm clueless! I use nzb matrix and newsdemon in conjunction with this. I'm getting stuff downloaded and all the information explaining the speed etc but just can't find the file - is it even on my hd? Any help is very much appreciated!

Ok, I'm a halfwit. I found the downloaded files in users/downloads etc.
