User Categories not working (0.5.5)

Post by Achy »

Version 0.5.4 and 0.5.5
OS: Windows
Install-type: Windows Installer
Skin (if applicable): smpl Version: 1.3
Firewall Software: Windows Default
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? yes

Started noticing odd things with categories on 0.5.4, same issue on 0.5.5 and I have started doing more tests to confirm.

How it used to work for me...
I set up a user-defined category called "Misc" set Folder to D:\Misc
I set up a RSS feed for some 'stuff' and gave it a category of Misc.
The RSS feed item is found downloaded and put into D:\Misc

What happens now...
When the RSS feed picks something up it finds it, downloads it but instead of putting it in D:\Misc (set by the user-defined category) it goes off and sticks it in which 'Group' category it corresponds to... The Group category matching seems to be overriding the user-defined category that I have assigned to it for the RSS.

I'm using nzbs.org for my feed.... if that makes a difference.
This must have changed over the past few versions as it never used to work like this, unless I am being particularly dim  :o

*** just read this...

Maybe I am being dim ...  :D I'll do some more testing.
