after downloading for a while the cache folder is fill with 10 gigabyte or more cache files and the download slows down to a crawl
when i start sabnzbd with the option -c to clean everything and i start downloading again its at full speed.
so at one point the cache folder is filling up, anyone an idea?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

0.5.x has several cache "leaks".
Not clearing the cache when deleting half-downloaded NZBs from the queue is one.
Left-over articles when jobs are moved from the queue to post-postprocessing is another.
The slowness is due to the filesystem having problems with large folders.
Release 0.6.0 will finally solve this issue.
