Appending the 3 standard user scripts

Post by langerak »

I have a really nooby question about the userscripts Sab comes with.

We have the:

1 Verify
2 Unpack
3 Clean up

As i can recall from earlier versions these were appended in this given order. So you download something and first it verifies, unrars it and then cleans up. This has always been a great way to download however with the last releases of Sab i can only choose them as a single option.
So when i start a download i can pass the category etc and the processing job. But there i can only select Verify, Unrar of Cleanup.

My question is: Is there a way to let Sab work the way it did in the earlier versions, so it goes via that processing order automatically? Maybe i am missing an option here or someting and probably it's a really simple solution, but i cannot find a solution for it myself :).

Hope to hear a solution soon :)!

The post processing options have been the same for years and still are.
Only the SMPL skin doesn't show the job attributes by default, you need to click on "show options" first.

Thanks for your answer, only i am using Plush as the default theme.

See my screenshot for more info on what i mean. I can't combine those options, only select one individually. However the items are Dutch you'll get my point i guess :).

There's nothing to combine and there never was.
The options are cumulative, so +Delete means Download, Verify, Unpack, Delete.
It's just like it always worked.

I would like to thank you for the info. My assumptions were wrong. I now found out why the options did not work for me.

The IONice parameter was prohibiting unrar to unpack, so therefore the scripts would always fail. Now i have removed the IOnice parameter and put the script "Delete" as standard script and now it all works again! ;)

Topic may be closed now :).

For all options & explanation : http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/faq#toc24

What does R/U/D or Repair/Unpack/Delete mean?

Long Name Short Name Description

+Repair               R         Verifies and repairs the downloaded files

+Unpack               U         Verifies and repairs the downloaded files
                                                +Unpacks downloaded files

+Delete               D         Verifies and repairs the downloaded files
                                                +Unpacks downloaded files
+Deletes the left over rar files

The blank option does nothing extra to the download files
