RSS & nzbindex. What am I doing wrong?

Post by Rob »

Somehow I can't get the RSS function on my synology running sabnzbd+ 0.5.4 working correctly.

As far as I se I have set it up correctly, still sabnzbd+ does not seem to download on the filters I set.

I use the following RSS feed:
feed://nzbindex.nl/rss/?g%5B%5D=132&g%5B%5D=687&age=30&sort=agedesc&minsize=50&maxsize=2000&complete=1&max=100&more=1&nzblink=1

In detail:
Search: blank, as I want to set this in my filters
Max age: 30 days
Results per page: 100
Groups: a.b.teevee & a.b.just4fun.nl
Sort by: Newest first
Min size: 50mb
Max size: 2000mb
Show complete releases only
Hide possible spam

Next thing I do is click on search. When ready I click on the RSS button on the right top of my screen en select NZBIndex RSS Feed for SABnzbd
I get above feed which I copy to my sabnzbd app.

The feed is selected and shows green in SABnzbd.

Now to test I filter on something I am sure I see showing up in the rss feed. In this case the filter shows *the mentalist*
I select forced download which results in only showing what already has been downloaded, but no new items.

What am I doing wrong?

Does the preview show that shows are matched?

This is unrelated.

BTW: when using nzbindex.nl you should switch on duplicate detection in Config->Switches.
nzbindex.nl creates new URLs for every scan.
This would make SABnzbd keep downloading the same stuff.

Yes your right. That's unrelated and solved now by lowering the result per page from 100 to 50.

Still filter does not work.

I now filtered on the norm show as an example and used first the filter *the norm show* and a second time *the norm show

Both give me below result (i did not copied the whole output and translated some from Dutch to English)

So I guess its not working and not selecting the norm show for download?

Shypike thx for your help and feedback.

I have now installed sabnzbd on my mac for testing as this is much faster than via my synology server.

For now I found out that the filter for "the norm show" only works when adding a * between each word because of the . in the file name.
So the filter now shows *the*norm*show*
I did this now for all my filters and it works much better.

One thing I still find strange is that with the exact same url feed my mac finds more matches than the synology version.
