Idle memory usage

I'm running the latest stable SABnzbd at my Ubuntu box.
It's basically always on, but only downloads once per day.

Even though it is idle, the webinterface hasn't been used for a few days, the memory usage reached almost 1GB without doing a thing.
It is downloading the RSS file from time to time, but apart from that I don't see why it should use ~1GB of memory.
