Im useing xs news as a tester for ipv6, and yes this account is free. I normally have an account with this group, and have never had a problem with my download speed. I am totally new to ipv6, and this is the reason I took this account out. I am useing go6 with sabnzbd and everything seems to be working ok, except that my download speed is a joke...

First test your IPv6 speed (without usenet download) like this:

Code: Select all

wget -6 http://ftp.belnet.be/packages/ubuntu/releases/lucid/ubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-i386.iso
Press after about each 5 - 30 seconds to get updates on your IPv6 speed.

wget is builtin in Linux, on Windows you should download it.

Here's my speed: around "2 M/s" meaning 2 MByte per second (and thus about 20 Mbit per second)

Code: Select all

sander@vadmin648:~$ wget -6 http://ftp.belnet.be/packages/ubuntu/releases/lucid/ubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-i386.iso
