I noticed someone else had this problem back in an 08 thread but it didn't really mention a resolution.
Quite simply I have nzbstatus installed and when I click a link it always queues up 2 dl's of the same file.
How do I remedy this?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

The problem is in nzbstatus itself or the way you set up things.
Do you use a "watched" folder? If so, stop doing that.
Have you told the SABnzbd installer to associate the nzb extension with SABnzbd?
If so, use the unistaller to remove this association (without uninstalling the rest).
As a last resort you can enable NZB backups (in Config->Folders) and set
"prevent duplicate downloads" in Config->Switches.
