SABnzbd+ 0.4.12: Verification suddenly failing every time.

Hi guys

Firstly, I can not update to 0.5x as I am using FreeBSD 7.0 Rel.

I have been using 0.4.12_2 for maybe 2 years with little trouble but all of a sudden, every download is failing during unpacking:

Stage Unrar
[UNPACK]: => No post-processing because of failed verification

I have made no recent changes to my system. I can not find anything in the logs to tell me what is happening, where should I be looking for details?

Was there a recent update of the par2 tool on FreeBSD?
Did you manually check the downloaded result? (the rar files and the par2 files should be there).

I have not updated any tools recently.

The Rar files are all present I have extracted them all manually to be sure and there was no failures. Is it possible that the cleanup procedure has caused problems by removing Par2 files before verification?

I don't know if this is related. But now the RSS feed isn't downloading the NZBs.

It identifies them correctly when I click 'Preview' and lists them as downloaded after I 'Force Download', but they are not actually added to the queue.

You would need to set logging level to "debug"
and look carefully at the logging to see what is going on.
Have you restarted SABnzbd recently.

The RSS problem has been fixed, but all files are still failing and the debug log is not showing anything. The word 'failed' does not appear in it at all. Do you know what I should be looking for?

Cleanup is done very late in post processing.
Still, you might try to remove par2 from the clean-up list.
Do you have QuickCheck enabled (in Config->Switches) ?
If so, can try downloading with this option disabled?
