This is my maiden voyage with usenets and nbz. Something isn't working right but I'm not sure what. I did a search but didn't see an obvious solution. First, my specs:

OS: Mac OS X 10.5.8
Install-type: OSX .app
Skin (if applicable): Plush
Firewall Software: None
Are you using IPV6? not that I know of
Is the issue reproducible? yes
I joined giganews yesterday on their trial diamond plan and downloaded SABnzbd as per the step by step instructions. Tested the connection. No issues. Set it up for SSL and 568 as giganews diamond supports this I think. Searched for files using an internet search source. Created the nzb which downloaded to my download folder. Imported it using the add NZB function. It loaded up. Toggled it from pause and it started to download and then almost immediately stopped and all the indicators zeroed out. No error messages just nothing further. I have left it for extended periods and no progress is ever made after this point. I tried a second different file and it did the same thing. I read through the forum a bit, tried changing my connections setting (currently at 10) and toggled off the blank server "enable" function. Still no change, same thing keeps happening. Any thoughts? Any other information that would be helpful? I really am just feeling around in the dark with this stuff so it is quite likely that I have just missed something completely obvious. I am using Safari to connect as i keep encountering that Chrome bug when I try to use the plug in. One issue at a time.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Not sure just know that no error popped up either onscreen or in the Connections page. Apologies for typos here as I can barely see the input box on this screen so I am typing blind. Also wanted to add that I downloaded a trial of Unison last night and it seems to work there so it is obviously something about the SAB settings I'm not getting.
