the ability to search usenet

Post by jucifer »

like grabit does. they charge a subscription service to do it, but i didn't mind paying it.

if i pull down a bunch of rars and something goes wrong with one of them, i've had good luck in the past, searching for the busted rar and replacing it with a new one.

also, there is a ton of stuff on usenet that there aren't nzbs for.

i've had to install virtual box and windows 7 on my mac, just so i could use that feature, and i'd gladly pay money not to have to.

Why not use an index site and use an integration tool like nzbStatus?
It will intercept any NZB download and send it straight to SABnzbd.

Not true: an indexer like binsearch.info will create an NZB on the spot for anything you find.

SABnzbd is primarily an automation tool.
It's not targeted at manually collecting stuff, Grabit and newsleecher
are much better at that. We're better at hands-free operation.
