Newbie Q's (Sickbeard vs SABnzbd)
Can somebody tell me how this all works, a fam member suggested I use linux for Internet Television, so I am, a bit confusing but I'm getting used to it. I saw a program called sick beard, what is the difference between it and sabnzb, why would I want both of them?

SickBeard finds nzbs for you, SABnzbd downloads them, then SickBeard takes the files and organizes them for you and finds extra metadata and a bunch of other junk.SabnzbHouseParty wrote: Can somebody tell me how this all works, a fam member suggested I use linux for Internet Television, so I am, a bit confusing but I'm getting used to it. SABnzbd works perfectly fine on its own, but if you want advanced tv stuff SickBeard is the best option out there.
Additionally, platform has nothing to do with this. SABnzbd and SickBeard work perfectly fine regardless of your OS. Windows, Linux and OSX are all first-class citizens here.
