server closed connection

Just upgraded to 0.5 and having the same issues that i was having before.  I start it up and then all server connections disconnect.  HELP

I can drop the server connections and it will connect then start dropping the connection speed till it is at 0.  This just started out of the blue

I would suspect either AstraWeb of the firewall software.
Your description is too generic to draw any conclusions from.
Did you have the issue before with 0.5.0 and now again with 0.5.2,
or was it 0.4.12 you used before?

i used 0.4.12 before and had the same issue plus some more issues.  thats why i upgraded to 0.5.2. when i upgraded i changed the port and the server address going to astraweb and no change. This is the first time I have used Rising but had Sabnzbd running fine for a few months when i upgraded to server.  Might go back to Windows7 and use AVG to see if that fixes anything.  I would think if there was an issue with Astraweb it would be widely spread.

All I can say is that I use the SABnzbd and AstraWeb together daily,
although with the European servers and not the US ones.
Have you tried SSL and ports 443 or 563?

I'd still suspect the firewall, although we seldom see problems with the NNTP traffic.
Most problems are around SABnzbd's internal web server.
