Sadnzbd home server.

Post by ziro360 »

Hi, in the other day i got and idea of creating an usenet home server downloader  ;D and after some research on the internet i got to this forum.

First let me explain, i want to use an old computer to install sabnzbd and create a ftp server, so that i can remotely make sabnzbd download files and later on, if i want, transferring them using the ftp server.

My question is: Can sabnzbd do it? and, is he safe?

Edit: If you have any suggestions please tell me  ;)

Thank you for your time

Just install it as a Windows Service.
See: http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/windows-service
Your local work folders should be in a D:\ folder.
Make sure your "complete" folders are written to \\server\share paths.

Or wait a few months for 0.6.0 which implements it properly.
