Hi Guys,
I'm pretty new to sabnzb (but not to usenet/newzbin in general). A friend told me about the benefits of sab from an automation perspective and I must admit I am very impressed :-)
I have everything setup so my newzbin downloads are picked up, downloaded, unpacked and then moved automatically. I just wondered how to configure multiple locations, for example I have tv series spanning over 3 different harddrives.
Is it possible to configure sab to check each of my tv directories for the season I am downloading to then place the files in the correct season folder (rather than copying them to the wrong directory)?
When I have tried to add more than one tv reference in the categories the first one is removed, I have also tried to rename the second to tv2 but this doesnt seem to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards
Tylor

Re: Multiple directories (spanning drives)
No, each category has exactly one folder.
You could setup multiple categories with different folder,
but you'd need to set the category right which category to use.
If you use RSS, you can give each filter a separate category.

Re: Multiple directories (spanning drives)
so could I setup a tv2 and tv3 category and then would I manually have to select the correct from the drop down while the files are downloading to ensure the right directory was used?
Re: Multiple directories (spanning drives)
Indeed.
The "Watched Folder" supports sub folders named after the categories.
(RSS allows more automation. You set separate filters for each show and assign each filter a category).
