    Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.

TCP/IP port problem

First time to usenet and newsreader.. Tried to install but keep getting error port 8080 in use. Tried the command line as suggested in terminal with every number up fro 8080 still no luck. what can I do next?
Please help  ???

Don't you think you're a bit short on details?
Operating system? Firewall? Virus scanner?

Sorry... Running Mac OSX Tiger 10.4.11 Norton Antivirus Connecting with Airport Extreme wireless ... Anything else that might help.. :-[

First suspect: Norton.
SABnzbd is always at war with security suites because it does things
that malware does too, like accessing internet and having a webserver port.
Check your Norton settings and tell it to leave SABnzbd alone.

I'm surprised that Norton lets you access the internet at all  ;D
