It would be nice if the nzb would be deleted from the watched folder after being used. For most of us there is no further need of the nzb if it has been used by SAB.

It is. At least, most of the time.
It can happen that the OS doesn't allow deletion.
That's also taken care of, because SABnzbd remembers that it
already processed the file.
