Let me explain my situation.
I got a NAS (CH3SNAS) running NZB getter. When NZB getter finds a new NZB, it will save the file on itself (NZB download folder) and wakes up a download-PC. The PC, with SABNzbd running, monitors the NZB download folder and automatic start the download. SABnzbd is configured to set the PC in standby when the queue is empty.
This way the download-PC will only be awake when a download has to be done.
I figured that when the PC wakes up, a download item goes into the queue, it does not go into stanby when empty. The standdby setting is stil active though. I have to reset this setting manualy.
Could SABnzbd be programmed so when a new download goes into the Queue, it will check the On queue finish: option and reactivate the setting?
Hope you understand my problem
Some answers for upcoming questions:
Why not use the NAS to download?
Because it is not powerfull enough. Slow downloads, slow repair and slow unpacks.
Why not monitor NZB RSS on the PC?
Because the NAS is always on and takes much less power then the PC. Thereby when a PC has been off/standby for a while, some downloads could be already out of the RSS feed (tvnzb) and would not be downloaded.
