Not sure if anyone's run into this yet but I've tried every combo I can think of for the comcast email settings and I cannot get notifications to work.
I think the outgoing server should be
smtp.comcast.net:587
Wondering if anyone else has had this problem or has any pointers. Fails to send a test email every time.

Re: Version: 0.5.0RC3 mail server problem (Wintel)
First of all there are too many mail servers to test, so we cannot.
Second: check whether you have a "clever" firewall, virus scanner, security suite
that prevents SABnzbd from sending email.
I've been bitten once by mcAfee that silently suppresses email coming
from anything except the well-known email clients (like Outlook).

Thanks for the tip, it was McAfee. Just upgraded to a Win 7 64 bit box and VS Enterprise SP2 was blocking them. Need to figure out the specific option to stop it from blocking things in the access protection but I know what's causing it at least now.shypike wrote: First of all there are too many mail servers to test, so we cannot.

Edit: Found It
Access Protection -> Edit Prevent mass mailing worms from sending mail
Just added an exclusion for SABnzbd.exe,
