how do I get the NZB files back
I loaded about 1TB of downloads into the program a while back, and now I want to do a system wipe because my computer is running a bit slow (unrelated to SABNZBD). I can't find a folder containing the nzb files after they're imported, so do I have to download all the nzb files again from usenet and then reimport into sabnzbd when I do the reinstall, or is there an easier way to save the settings.
Re: how do I get the NZB files back
The backed-up NZB files will only exist if you had specified such a folder.
The default setting is no folder, so no backup.
Check Config->Folders.
Are you referring to the current download queue?
In that case you need to save quite a bit.
The complete "Temporary download folder",
the sabnzbd.ini file and the "cache" folder.
If you use 0.5.0Beta, you need the admin folder too.
Use Config->Folders to find out where everything is.
It's a tricky operation and make sure you restore to the same paths.
I advise you to download the queue first until it's empty.
After that you only need the save the sabnzbd.ini file
(but your history will be gone then).
