I have just installed sabnzbd and it looks great so far.
I am unable to find the service executable, so can't seem to run it as a service. Has this been disabled somehow? Running 0.4.12.
Then, although I am able to browse site on the local machine (Config, queues etc..) I am unable to browse from any other PCs. I have disabled Windows Firewall (Running server on WinXP (SP3), browsing from Win7 machines). I am trying to browse to http://192.168.1.3:8081/, but get a blank window.
Browsing to http://192.168.1.3:8081/sabnzbd/queue/ on the server, I get what I expect, but from a remote PC, I get a Page cannot be displayed error.
And finally, are there any free NZB search sites, where I can simple save the NZB to a watched folder and let it go?

Re: A few novice questions
Hi,
On the wiki is a howto of installing Sabnzbd as a windows service.
I suspect that you've configured the right ip in "Host SABnzbd should listen on."
So maybe you have to check this.
try (without queue) (sure enter http://....)
www.nzbindex.nl is a free index site, but there are many others
On the webinterface (http://192.168.1.3:8081/sabnzbd) it's possible to upload an nzb file

Re: A few novice questions
With a bit of trickery the current SABnzbd binaries wil run as a Windows service.
See: http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/windows-service
One limitation is that the "restart" of release 0.5.0 will not work.
Release 0.6.0 will be able to install itself as a proper Windows Service.
