Unknown Encoding downloading *.jpg file

Post by spaceboyx96 »

Hello,

Just started using SABnzbd+ just yesterday.  Completely impressed.  However when I download small files that are not compressed or parted in a rar file, I get the error in the queue:

2009-12-28 10:48:48,046 WARNING [nzbqueue] None -> Unknown encoding

It then creates a _FAILED_ folder in the completed folder.

Downloading large files that are compressed works great, it's only the small *.jpg files.  And yes I have tried many of them.

I'm running SABnzbd+ 0.4.12 on Mac OS X 10.6

Thanks for the help.

I suspect it to use MIME encoding  (older form of embedding binaries in Usenet articles).
We never implemented MIME encoding.
Primarily because very few people use it nowadays.

Please send an example NZB to bugs at sabnzbd.org.
I will have a look at it.
