I was wondering if anyone can walk me through creating a username and password used only for remote connections. Currently, I have a username and password setup for sabnzbd but I have to input my information even on the computer running the server. I would like to only require a password and username for when I am out and about and want to check on sabnzbd. It seems counterintuitive to have a password required for the computer that is actually running the server.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

Unfortunately, SABnzbd's password system is all-or-nothing. There's no such thing as a remote-only password.
