Sabnzbd and FreeNAS

Post by Mobius »

Hi all

First off all i want to say im rather new to FreeNAS & Freebsd. How ever i have been busy and experimenting with them both past couple of days.

Specs of Freenas :

System information
Hostname freenas.local
Version 0.7 Khasadar (revision 4919)
Built on Fri Nov 6 18:57:04 UTC 2009
OS Version FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE-p4 (revision 199506)
Platform i386-full on AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+
System time
Uptime 22 hour(s) 15 minute(s) 0 second(s)
Last config change Mon Nov 30 9:50:02 UTC 2009
CPU frequency 1800 Mhz
CPU usage
Memory usage
Load averages [Show process information]

Now my question and problem is / are :

I have used different guides to install Sabnzbdplus on FreeNAS. Now i`ve come up to the part where you should start Sabnzb for the first time so that the
/root/.sabnzbd directory.  will be created. How every when i execute it i get an error :

/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /lib/libpthread.so.2: version LIBTHREAD_1_0 required by /usr/local/bin/python2.5 not found

No i have entered this error in to google. No usefull results came up. I have used parts of error but still nothing usefull i found. How ever as i said earlier my knowledge about Freebsd  isnt huge , so im not sure where i have to look for this error and how to fix it. So i thought i come here and ask you people .

If you need more information about the system etc just let me know.

Thanks in advance

Greetings

Dennis

Unfortunately these kind problems are next to impossible for us to solve.
None of the team actually uses FreeNAS.
Running it in VMWare might be possible, but the cost in time spent on that would be high.

SABnzbd depends on the quality of all underlying components.
Python being the most important one.

So the Sabnzb on freeNAS continues

I have downloaded Beta version 0.5 and when i try to launch it, I get an error :

freenas:/mnt/temp/SABnzbd-0.5.0Beta1# python SABnzbd.py
Sorry, requires Python module sqlite3 (pysqlite2 in python2.4)
Try: apt-get install python-pysqlite2
freenas:/mnt/temp/SABnzbd-0.5.0Beta1#

How ever the apt-get part doesnt work on freenas. And i`ve been googling all night but i havent found any thing that could help me.

Can anyone help me again on this ? I even used freenas forums but no relevant help there .

Current version of python installed is 2.6.2

thanks in advance

Greetz
