Can't run SABnzbd on my MAC!

I downloaded and put SABnzbd in my app folder and tried to start it, but it didn't work. I checked the forum for this problem and found the thread from wilsonfisk

I tried all the problem solving from this thread except changing the host to 0.0.0.0, since i'm not sure how to do it, nothing helped so far.

Version: 0.4.12
OS: Mac OSX 10.5.8
Install-type:
Skin (if applicable): Default
Firewall Software: OSX Firewall
Are you using IPV6? don't know
Is the issue reproducible? yes

As webbrowser i tried:

Safari ver 4.0.4
Firefox ver 3.5.5
Camino ver 1.0.2

http://localhost:8080/sabnzbd    not working
http://127.0.0.1:8080/sabnzbd    not working
http://[::1]:8080/sabnzbd          not working

I also opened port 8080 on my router and turned the OSX firewall off/on and LittleSnitch off/on.That didn't help either!
Maybe someone could help me!

Is the SABnzbd process actually running?
If you want to use 0.0.0.0, you'll need to access the hidden folder .sabnzbd in your HOME folder.
The file sabnzbd.ini contains line starting with "host = ".

yes, the process seems to be running, as i can see the program icon in my dock and in the force end window.

i will now try and change the .ini file

changing the host to 0.0.0.0 worked now
