newzbin authentication problem

Post by Melac »

hi
I have a problem with newzbin, the problem is that every time i try and fetch a nzb from either an ID or URL I get this error
"2009-11-11 20:50:44,550
WARNING
[newzbin] Unauthorised, check your newzbin username/password
2009-11-11 20:50:44,550
ERROR
[sabnzbd.misc] Error getting url xxxxxxx"

The strange thing is that if I try it on another computer with my newzbin login I can fetch the nzb just fine and I can also download the nzb file to a watched folder and then sabnzbd download it.

Version: 0.4.12
OS: OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.2
Install-type: OSx .app
Skin: Plush
Firewall Software: None
Are you using IPV6?: No
Is the issue reproducible?: Yes

Best regards

Melac

Check carefully in the sabnzbd.ini file if your password is correct.
BTW: leading or trailing spaces are not supported in the password.

Hi

I looked in the file and there was a space in front of the username, so I deleted it and now it works  :D

Thank you for the help and really quick answer.

Best Regards
