Unable to connect on Linux Mint

Hello to all.

I'm using Linux Mint 7 (Gloria) and I followed the "tutorial" on http://forums.sabnzbd.org/index.php?topic=387.0 to install sabnzbd on my machine. However, when I installed it I can't start it. When i start the program, I get the "Unable to connect" in my browser. Any hints?

How is localhost defined? Is it the IPV4 address 127.0.0.1 or the IPV6 address [::1] ?
Try setting a numeric IP address like 127.0.0.1

what you mean? to try to connect to http://127.0.0.1:8080/sabnzbd? if so, it doesn't work.

No, do two things: tell SABnzbd to listen to 127.0.0.1 and tell the browser to use that too.
'localhost' might not translate to 127.0.0.1 on your system.
