New user need help

Hi
Please somebody can tell me how to close or shutdown SABnzbd from Firefox .After finished downloading if i close Firefox SABnzbd still running in background and i have to kill task from taskmanager all the time.Is thr anyway to close or shutdown SABnzbd  like other programs (not from task manager) closing Firefox not working..........


Any help would be appreciated

Using the plush theme:



Just mouseover the Sabnzbd bit in the middle, and that pops up.
Then you'll see shutdown

Personally I think the theme could use some work in that area, I really wish it did have all these options always visible.
I could never stop using Plush though. It auto refreshes and it looks so damn awesome!

Hi Joy,
I don't know why you want to shut SABnzbd+ down. I leave it running constantly as it uses very little resources and therefore
ready and waiting should I find an NZB I want and just drop it into the watch folder.

it's in the menu somewhere, not difficult to find.  can't tell you exactly as I use v5 now which may well be different

@ Eejit no i have no problem to running 24hrs. or all the time just wants to know how it works ..im very new in Usenet but if i leave running  SABnzbd+ constantly thats mean im connected with my news servers all the time..?

and about watched folder i created a folder in D :drive named watched Folder and gave same path in SABnzbd's Folder options later downloaded one NZB file in it but it not start downloading automatically..what im doing wrong here?? as far i know if i save one nzb file in watched folder it should start downloading automatically .

Im using V 0.4.11 but new version released why still not auto update self to new version..In confiig Auto update is enable.

No not connected all the time (you can see in the connections tab when there are connections), only connected when downloading something.

Watched folder works exactly as you described, probably just a problem with the directory (try using one without spaces).

Thanks but still not working here what i did

created one folder inside my download folder named it watchedfolder
Later sabnzbd's Folder options Watched Folder D:\Download\Watchedfolder and saved settings but nothing in queue ..


but (Using Plush skin) in NZB processing  thr i see my NZB name(Script if i mouse hover thr) but thats not queue or i cant download it either ..i have to browse the nzb file to download that file(Like usual way)

Don't put the watched folder inside the download folder.
It will get erased as soon as it's empty (bug in 0.4.x).

It works now but When i create one Watchedfolder example in D drive D:\Usenet\Watchedfolder not works but now i created watched folder on Desktop and it works that's little bit weird and another thing  it still automatically deleted nzb files from watchedfolder too......

SABnzbd deletes an NZB file after it has entered it into the queue,
that what it's supposed to do.
In your previous situation it deleted the watched folder itself, which is a bug.
