Using sabnzbd remotely via iphone away from home

I'm new to sabnzbd and I have been tweaking it here and there to do everything it already does so amazingly. I have an iphone and I downloaded myNZB so I could use tvnzb and newzbin while not at my pc to queue up sabnzb. The problem is I can't really get access to sabnzbd when I'm away from my router. I tried configuring sabnzbd to my main PCs IP address with open port to see if that would work, but when running sabnzbd in safe mode I see some error messages appear and it never finishes starting. I can access it when the web server is set as the localhost or my main PC router address 192.168.1.4

But I want to be able to access sabnzbd when I am not near my router. Does anyone have any recommendations? Am I being a total nub (besides the fact that i'm new)?

I've considered setting up a connection between my iphone and a server on my pc so I can just tell sabnzbd to watch that folder for nzb's and then download nzb's on my iphone and use ifile to move them to the correct folder.
That is, indeed, a huge inconvenience. So if anyone has some great clues on how to get this to work asap, that would be great!

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear in my post :/

I can get it working locally. I can't get it working otherwise. It works fine over localhost or 192.168.1.4. My ports work perfectly.

I want to get it working away from my router. For example if I was to try to access sabnzbd from a computer at work, it would be a different router and would tell me sabnzbd does not exist. I tried configuring it for my main computers IP address but I get an error when starting sabnzbd.

Also, the same case would be if I tried using safari browser while using Edge or 3G networks while on my iphone. But if I could setup sabnzbd like i'm attempting to do, it would work correctly. So i'm basically trying to get it to work remotely from my actual IP.

It's called a web server, so I want to be able to access sabnzbd's web server from any pc on the web.

On my local network, if I configure sabnzbd to localhost or 192.168.1.4 everything works.

*Note: I do not want to get local access working. I can do that, and I have downloaded several NZB files successfully using Sabnzbd. I am trying to setup the web server to get access outside of my house.

Everything works. But if I change sabnzbd to my IP address of my computer, it does not start properly. I cannot access localhost or 192.168.1.4 outside of my router access. What can I enter in as the webserver besides my computers IP Address to get access to it for example a pc at work/friends house/school.

I know mynzb has problems with http://, myNZB works fine with Localhost and 192.168.1.4 settings in webserver configuration.
if I edit sabnzbd.ini file to my computers actual IP address, when starting I get this:

(Obviously I blurred out my IP, but I don't know why this wouldn't work :/)
Anyone know whats going on here?
