Dear all,
I am using a Pentium 4 2,4gHz, 1GB RAM machine with Ubuntu 9.04 and I have recently installed SABnzbd+.
I used SABnzbd+ on the same machine before under Xp, and on my iMac G5 without problems. When running SABnzbd+ (Python) under Ubuntu 9.04 the CPU is constant on 100%. Obviously this is not how it should be so my question: is there any information available to avoid this? or can anyone help me? (or is it maybe the Python environment in order to run SABnzbd+?)
Specially when saving config settings in the config panel the CPU hits 100% and keeps at 100%. Also when huting down via the shutdown option nothing happens and via a 'kill process' I have to quit it.
Thanks in advance :)

How did you install it?
Check your Python version, it should be 2.5 and not 2.6.

Re: When running sabnzb the CPU load is constant 100%
I thought it was Python so I upgraded to 2.6.2
I noticed that the CPU is only hitting 100% (and stays on 100%) when altering settings. Could it be an issue with the config file?
