Warning after customizing RSS-feed

Post by pven »

Hi!

First of all: I really love SABnzbd. It is going to replace Newsleecher, which I used until now.

After defining a RSS-feed and customizing it by adding a filter, it is not downloading my stuff. I get a warning: '2009-08-24 17:36:02,131 WARNING [sabnzbd.misc] Cannot read c:\docume~1\pven~1.sha\locals~1\temp\tmpiumobh.php'. The service for SABnzbd is running under the pven-user, so it should be able to access it. The file mentioned in the warning is available in the mentioned directory. I am not able to find an option to change the temp-directory. Although it is a warning, the RSS-feed is not downloading stuff.

What can I do to get this working?  ???

Regards,
P. van der Ven

How did you specify the URL of the RSS feed?

I use http://rss.nzbmatrix.com/rss.php?subcat=41 (I did not change anything), I confgure it by using Config / RSS. Preview is working fine.

Never mind, I fixed the RSS-feed by reading ... :)

I use the RSS-feed generated by NZBmatrix, but I still got a simular error:
'2009-08-24 19:51:02,328 WARNING [sabnzbd.misc] Cannot read c:\docume~1\pven~1.sha\locals~1\temp\tmpcsbjlp.php'

Help?  ;D

RSS feeds are required to link to the nzb file.

To use nzbmatrix, you must be a premium member and click "NZB Download link (VIP Account Holders Only)" when adding a feed from http://rss.nzbmatrix.com/

I am a premium member on NZBmatrix. I will check it later on today.

Just to be sure: the warning I get has to do with the format of the RSS-feed?

No, it looks more like the retrieval of the NZB file goes wrong.

I don't think NZBmatrix support works properly in 0.4.11.
You can sign-up as release tester in the Beta board, so you can get 0.5.0 pre-releases.

You have to setup the RSS feed using your VIP API key in the URL, otherwise the RSS feeds do not link directly to NZB files, they link to a web page.

Like this - http://rss.nzbmatrix.com/rss.php?page=d ... &subcat=42

I know this works because I used Nzbmatrix with 4.11
