Hello all, i can't get nzbdStatus to work with sabnzbd

I used to be able to have it working perfectly, but now nothing works between the two programs. When i manually download something through sabnzbd the nzbdStatus addon shows that the sabnzbd is idle. It shows this status no matter what is happening in sabnzbd. Also when im at the newzbin site and click the yellow arrow to send the download to sabnzbd... nothing happens there as well. I entered the correct password in sabnzbd in the newzbin section . I am completely out of ideas as to what i can do anymore. Tried changing ports from 8080 to 5525 and still no dice.

I'm running windows 7 RC1, 0.4.11 of sabnzbd and 1.0.9 of nzbdStatus. Here's a picture of my setup for you to see.

Just to eliminate things.
Switch off the security feature ("Disable API key") and see if that makes a difference.

It doesn't make a difference. I've tried switching ports, disabling the api key, nothing seems to work. I ran a VMware install of xp and tried it on there and it worked. I'm not sure if its my firefox or if its windows 7.

I'm out of suggestions now.
We have had a  few reports about Windows 7, but that was about stability of SABnzbd itself.
We have no testing experience yet with Win7.

i have nzbdstatus installed but have not rely used it. but just wanted to say i am running 4.0.11 fine with windows 7 build 127.. i will try and see if i can get the nzbdstatus and post back.

ok so i got nzbdstatus 1.09 and sabnzbd 4.011 and the send to sab from newzbin does not seem to work. my firefox though is the 3.5 beta 4 ..
so gave sab a report# from newzbin it went and got it. but nzbdstatus is still showing idle while sab is downloading the file just fine.
thats all i have so far.
but sab on win7 is running good. i am on the x64 windows and have the par2 and unrar x64 bit files and it runs nice and fast.

yeah sab runs great it's just nzbdstatus that i guess doesn't work with windows 7 yet. This is very unfortunate. I'm running the release candidate 1 version of windows 7.

Im having the same problem.Im running the same exact hardware as shadow.Mine just started happening though after i upgraded to 4.1.By the way ive been using sabnzbd since the beginning and would like to thank you guys for such a great program!

Please upgrade to 1.0.10 at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... sions/7617 and use the new Test Connection feature in the Config window.
Let me know what it says.

how did u reach the beta addons? it only shows 1.06 for me. i know i can click your link but i want to know how you did it for myself.

Failed to connect

Try changing the port to the following combinations:
sab: 127.0.0.1
nzbdstatus: 127.0.0.1

sab: 0.0.0.0
nzbdstatus: 192.168.1.x (your local ip address)

sab:  (blank)
nzbdstatus: 192.168.1.x (your local ip address)

Restart sabnzbd after changing the host in sabnzbd.
