Try to follow the general Unix guidelines:

The specfic CentOS 5.2 guide will probably be the most useful one.
The general idea is to get Python and as much as possible required modules
through the package manager of your OS.
If they're not available you may try to install and compile the tarball
of the modules.
Finally you install SABnzbd's tarball.
