Re: issue with port
Maybe SAB itself can check during startup whether it's already running, for example by looking at the process table or by connecting to the port should run on. Or has this already been implemented in 0.5.0 Alpha?pair of dimes wrote: You should bookmark SAB in your web browser. It will continue to run after you close it.
Are you opening the program over and over from your desktop shortcut?

Re: issue with port
i am not running it via a bookmark. i am running it using the shortcut on the desktop.
Re: issue with port
You should only be doing that once. Once SABnzbd is started it will continue to run in the background. Closing your web browser does not close SABnzbd.wolfreborn wrote: i am not running it via a bookmark. i am running it using the shortcut on the desktop.
Do as pairofdimes says and bookmark the sabnzbd page, and use that bookmark to access sabnzbd once it has been launched initially.
It is already in 0.5.0 alpha, yes.sander wrote:Maybe SAB itself can check during startup whether it's already running, for example by looking at the process table or by connecting to the port should run on.
