Re: Unpack stuck
“(ran while the queue is paused)” you mean I should run the test now that sabnzbd is idle? or “paused” as in when the whole lockup happens again?
Re: Unpack stuck
When it's idle.

This is the first test:
Used cache
498.0 MB (729 articles)
Download speed limited by
Disk speed (2440x)
System performance (Pystone)
430403 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz AVX2
Download folder speed
49.9 MB/s G:\__PROCESSING\_PENDING_NG
Complete folder speed
36.5 MB/s X:\__INCOMING
Internet Bandwidth
120.25 MB/s 962 Mbps
Platform
Windows-10
Then I reduced newsserver connections from ~150 down to 90 and this happened:
Used cache
0 B (0 articles)
System performance (Pystone)
437972 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz AVX2
Download folder speed
59.7 MB/s G:\__PROCESSING\_PENDING_NG
Complete folder speed
57.6 MB/s X:\__INCOMING
Internet Bandwidth
116.96 MB/s 935.68 Mbps
Platform
Windows-10
I assume the disk bottleneck went away because of less concurrent cons/writes? How is that a new thing for me though since it never was an issue until a few months ago.
Could it be the SSD slowing down? It’s way over used at 4 Petabyte but Samsung Magician still says all good and all tests
show great values.
Even so, the write values above 59/57MB/s are low low. If I move files between the SSD and USB3 external drive I get consistant speeds of 120MB/s+. Nowhere near the 59ish shown.
