when I download television programs, and everything works fine. However when a download movies, often greater than a Gb, I get an error
e.g., "Unpacking failed, write error or disk is full? \\?\Y:\\c7af5952a2."
when I go into the directory, I have to manually unrar the file and the video is fully intact. Not sure why I am getting the error or what to do about it. It is a long-lasting program but I find decided to ask for help.

Re: Unpacking failed error
Y is a server on my home network. Files doawnload onto my computer and are then copied onto the server. Works fine for TV shows and other types. Just not for large files that are in RAR
Re: Unpacking failed error
what happens when you download the 1GB and later on the 10GB SABnzbd built-in test files (via the Wrench in upper corner)?
and the same with a download to your C or D drive?

Re: Unpacking failed error
when dowloaded directly to my computer there were no errors.
Re: Unpacking failed error
So:
Status Failed
Unpacking failed, write error or disk is full? \\?\Y:\\10GB-explanation.txt
So: is the disk full? How much space there?
If >10GB: do the 3 other tests ...

Re: Unpacking failed error
all three fail. There is a ton of space on the hard drive. I can manually unrar the files with no issues. it is the automated extract that seems not to work.
Re: Unpacking failed error
So: SABnzbd on Windows, the 1GB built-in NZB test file, with both Incomplete and Complete directory on C: ... fails?
Please recheck and recheck before answering that question.

Re: Unpacking failed error
Enable Debug logging in the Status window and then after it happens again click Show Logging. It will show the whole unrar logging.

Re: Unpacking failed error
So this is what happens. If I download to the root Server directory (in the case Y: ) it fails. But if I download to a subdirectory (Y:\Temp) there are no issues. very strange
