SABnzbd+ not downloading anything

Version: 0.4.9
OS: OSX Leopard 10.5.6.
Install-type: OSx .app
Skin (if applicable): default
Firewall Software: None
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproduceable? yes

My installation of SABnzbd+ isn't downloading anything. I've configured 9 servers and moved folders "complete" and "incomplete" to my HDDs root to make sure SABnzbd's problems don't come from too long filepaths.
Still I get nothing. NZBs are being cached, but download simply doesn't start. When deleting all servers but one (my ISPs), I get these warnings:

As soon as I'm defining other servers I don't get any warnings (despite the occational "no route to host" for one or two of them), but it's not loading either after SABnzbd is done caching.
I didn't change any other of SABnzbd's settings but the complete/incomplete folders destinations. I don't think it's because stuff I am trying to d/l is out of server's retention since the item was released < 1 day ago. I've set complete/incomplete folder permissions to read/write everyone.

Sorry for being such a n00b and thanks for your help.

well as you can see above , the files are not on the server anymore.

Are you using free servers ? or also paid ones ?

Just free servers. But how could it be that it's not there anymore? As I said, it's been released less than a day ago.  ???

What are the free servers?
Is it possible that they only have text newsgroups and not binary?
