I was very happy to get my sabnzbd (v 3.0 if I remember correctly) running in a docker on my synology nas (ds918+ Celeron) with a step by step guide for complete dummies. I was not able to change anything for let's say 3 years or maybe 5 no idea. even with my 3 studies I'm somwhow stupid about networks, programming, Linux...
updates of the container were also not working - but it was OK for me. never had any problem.
last week I was able to update the image on 4.1 manually. besides showing the remaining time while unpacking, I was only realizing one major change - unfortunately a bad one.
while downloading or enpacking the nas is basically not responding anymore, just opening the file browser or connect via xxx or refreshing the sabnzbd page needs at least 3 seconds (instead of 0.1 seconds), sometimes 5 or 10.
so I read a lot and realized that there is now an direct syno community app (many thanks for that!!) and I can finally get rid of the complicated docker image and also it should increase performance.
not for me. nas lags are still exactly the same
so my question, does anybody have an idea which feature (must be hidden) were added or changed any maybe I can deactivate? or something else I could do?
my first guess would be - if possible - to unpack only one file not serval in a batch but cannot find the setting.
stopping downloads while enpacking doesn't change a thing. I'm running on slower isp as 3 months ago, 50mbit instead of 100. connections are 30 or 50, no change at all. no nas update, no other apps at all are running on the nas - I'm out of ideas.
any idea is much appreciated!!
