Speed issues?

Post by smicyus »

I have not changed anything in my settings, but I have noticed the past 2-3 days my download speeds are in the kb and not mb. I have fiber at my house and like I mentioned I am just experiencing this the past couple of days and never before. In the status and interface settings, it says I am getting 312 mb folder download speed, but when downloading I am only getting 4-600 kbs. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated. I, again, have changed absolutely nothing and have never had this issue.

Thanks

While SABnzbd is NOT doing/downloading anything: In SABnzbd's upper right corner, click on the wrench symbol ("Status and interface options"), then click on first tab Status, and there click on the Refresh Arrow. Post the values of the lower part here.

Then, again via Wrench symbol:
click Test download 1GB. After downloading, in history, at the download in the drop down, what was the resulting speed? Example "Download Downloaded in 55 seconds at an average of 22.9 MB/s"

And: which newsprovider?

looks like it fixed itself, leading me to believe it was either nzb or news hosting that was the issue. As soon as I got home though, I did what you asked:

for the test: downloaded in 17 seconds at an average of 61.8MB/s

the interface bottom info:

download folder speed: 299.1 MB/s
complete folder speed: 312.7 MB/s
internet bandwidth: 42 MB/s

I downloaded a few random things and they were hitting mid 60's, so it appears to be fixed. I greatly appreciate that help and assistance.

Thanks again!!!
